Cieffe Filati guarantees a working environment that complies with current safety and health regulations, by monitoring, managing and preventing the risks associated with professional activity.
To this end, it promotes responsible and safe behaviour and adopts all the safety measures required to guarantee a safe and healthy working environment, in full compliance with the current legislation on prevention and protection, pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 81 / 2008.
The general measures to protect the health and safety of workers in the workplace are:
- the assessment of all health and safety risks;
- prevention planning, aimed at coherently integrating technical production conditions as well as the influence of environmental factors and work organization on prevention;
- the elimination of risks and, where this is not possible, their reduction to a minimum in relation to the knowledge acquired on the basis of technical progress;
- Compliance with ergonomic principles in the organization of work, in the design of workplaces, in the choice of equipment and in the definition of work and production methods, in particular in order to reduce the health effects of monotonous and repetitive work;
- reduction of risks at source;
- the replacement of what is dangerous with what is not, or is less dangerous;
- the limitation to a minimum of the number of workers who are, or who may be, exposed to risk;
- limited use of chemical, physical and biological agents in the workplace;
- the priority of collective protection measures over individual protection measures;
- health control of workers;
- the removal of workers from exposure to risk for health reasons and the assignment, when possible, to another job;
- adequate information, instructions and training for workers, managers and for workers’ representatives;
